Halloween Edition

Do you get tempted by Halloween treats? Taking the kids trick or treating? Let this be your guide to staying on track through the frightening amounts of sweets around! Have a plan. If you know that All Hallow’s Eve is a tough one for you, follow these tips to be prepared:

1. Eat everything on your program sheet. You will be much less tempted by sweets if your body has everything it needs! Don’t skimp on the veggies and get in all of your meals!
2. If buying candy for trick-or-treaters, don’t buy candy early. If you stock up early, there are more chances it will go to waste in your own body. Buy candy just before the holiday. Also, buy candy that you don’t like so that it’s less tempting. Be sure to also store it out of sight; out of sight, out of mind!
3. Drink a hot spiced tea! Nothing says fall more than a spiced tea, or our Pumpkin Pie Pudding and Shake!
4. Save your ShiftSetGo snack for the evening as a delicious treat! Try a Chocolate Mint or Dark Chocolate S’mores bar as your last meal of the day.
5. Work with your coach on creating a thought response specific for you to get through any bumps in the road.
