Weekly Wisdom

Topic 38:

You’re almost there; the end of the year is in sight!

If following the protocol is like a racecourse, Stage 1 SHIFT is the big hill in the middle! As you come down the hill, you enter Stage 2. This is pre-stabilization where we get you SET and ready for maintenance, our GO! Stage. You need to trust the transition process. Your body needs to return to eating all whole foods, especially carbohydrates, slowly. A proper transition through the stages is crucial for your success in maintenance. Your coach will walk you through each stage, so you have nothing to fear!

Keep your eye on the real prize. Our goal isn’t weight loss, it’s the maintenance of the weight you have lost! Many clients become nervous about leaving the routine and structure of Stage 1 behind. Uneasiness is common and something you will work through with your coach. We have been providing you with the knowledge and tools all along, and in Stage 3 Go! they will all come together!

Tip: It can be challenging to keep up your motivation this time of year! Do you remember your WHY statement you may have created at the beginning of your journey? Regain that fire to reach your goal weight by focusing on your WHY and imagining what life will be like when you achieve it and can live confidently in maintenance.
