TIPS TO KEEP YOU ON TRACK

Valentine’s Day is all about chocolate, right?

WRONG! Who declared that chocolate needs to be how we devote our love to one another? What happened to the gift of quality time together, or health and energy, or even flowers? Here’s what to do to get you through this sugar-filled holiday.

Four ways to enjoy V-DAY that aren’t about food:
1. Buy a new nice outfit.
It’s amazing what a new outfit can do to boost your confidence. And finding new form fitting clothing that show off your new figure will get more people noticing all the hard work you’ve done!
2. Treat yourself to the spa.
Get your nails done, a new haircut, or a fancy massage to feel fully relaxed for the holiday.
3. Be thankful.
Be thankful for any received gifts for the holiday- even if it’s chocolate! They were just trying to share how much you mean to them and may have not even realized they were doing you a disservice. However, this does NOT mean you need to eat it.
4. Surprise a loved one.
Even if you don’t have a significant other in your life, doesn’t mean you can’t express your gratitude to a loved one this holiday! This can be a gift of quality time, thoughtful words, or even the gift of health showing your support on their own health journey.

Recipe of the Week!

Cherry Meringue Bites

Ingredients:
1 ShiftSetGo Cherry Gelatin Mix
½ tsp baking powder
4 egg whites
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250℉. Add salt and baking powder to egg whites and beat until holds shape. Slowly add Gelatin Mix while continue to beat until stiff. Spoon mix into piping bag and place small amounts on cookie sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for 15 mins.
